TAMI REIMER

Speech-Language Pathologist

BACKGROUND

Tami Reimer is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist who has been providing speech and language services to families for over 24 years.  She believes in building young children’s language skills in play and daily routines. She believes that children learn best when they are happy and engaged in playful activities.  

Tami offers assessment and treatment of speech sound errors for preschool, kindergarten and early elementary children.  She offers assessment and treatment of language delays for toddlers to early elementary children. She offers assessment and treatment for phonological awareness and early reading skills. 

Tami also offers Accent Modification coaching and instruction to motivated, confident adults.  Clients experience success in using clearer and more powerful speaking skills and feel a boost in their ability to use English effectively.

  • Bachelor of Arts, Major in Linguistics, University of Manitoba, 1990

  • Masters of Speech-Language Pathology, University of Alberta, 1995

  • Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists – registered member (ACSLPA)

  • Certified member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC)

  • Member of Alberta Speech-Language Association of Private Practitioners (ASAPP)

  • Certified Instructor of Compton Pronouncing English as a Second Language Accent Modification Method (PESL)

  • Hanen® Certified It Takes Two to Talk® program for parents of young children with language delays
